Twelve weeks. Two days a week. One hour of boxing, a hot meal, and time with someone in your corner.
SmartBox Foundation runs on a cohort model. Every participant joins at the start of a 12-week cycle and moves through the program together as a group. Sessions run every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30 to 6:30 PM at our Scarborough location.
Structured coaching in boxing fundamentals including footwork, technique, and conditioning. No experience needed. Every session is supervised by qualified coaches in a safe, controlled environment.
A nutritious meal is provided at every session at no cost. Sitting down together as a group builds community and ensures no participant is training or learning on an empty stomach.
Every participant gets dedicated one-on-one time with a trained youth worker. Homework help, personal support, goal setting, or just a real conversation with a trusted adult who is in their corner.
Strength, coordination, and cardiovascular health built through consistent structured training.
Showing up twice a week for 12 weeks builds habits that extend far beyond the gym.
Participants train together, eat together, and grow together. Many of these relationships last well beyond the group.
Boxing teaches youth how to handle pressure, reset after difficulty, and keep moving forward.
SmartBox Foundation is open to youth between the ages of 11 and 18 living in Scarborough and surrounding priority neighbourhoods. No boxing experience is required. No equipment is needed. There is no cost to participate.
If you have a young person in your life who could benefit from structure, support, and a program that will show up for them consistently, this is for them.
